BE - Life is so hectic for all of us. We are so busy doing and going that we rarely have the chance to just BE. We have a desire for the Lord and to follow Him, but do we really take the time to know Him? When was the last time we simply sat before the Lord in silence and patience? Even summer camps can promote a lifestyle of business and entertainment. Not this year...

AREA1:camps 2011 are taking a deep breath. Yes, we will still offer worship, teaching, and fun. However, our goal is to create and environment of relaxation and peace so you and your students can truly "BE" before the Lord. In many ways and places in the Bible, God calls us to BE followers of Christ not just agree with spiritual information. This year we will intentionally focus on applying all that we know about Christ in our daily walk... to BE followers of Christ, to BE the church, to BE transforming to all those around us. But first... to BE still before the Lord.

During AREA1:camps we will challenge students to start a relationship with Jesus Christ if they do not have one. The challenge for students that already follow Christ will be to consider what it means to live for Christ or, put another way, be the church rather than just attending church.

When we present the gospel we present the facts and trust students to make a decision because we believe that God's Word will not return void to Him. We also work to create opportunities for you and your youth team to minister to your students. Should you be short on adult volunteers to pray with your students the AreaOne staff will be available to support you.
