AREA1:camps 2008
Our Heart: AREA1:camps are laser focused on creating an atmosphere of
challenging teaching and passionate worship that inspires, trains and mobilizes teenagers to live out a biblical perspective in every aspect of their lives. We take all of the planning and logistics off your plate so you and your youth team can focus all your efforts on ministering to your students. AREA1:ozarks in Roach, MO serves the southern/midwestern region while AREA1:beulahbeach in Vermilion, OH serves central northern region. Sign up for information and discounts on AREA1:emeraldcoast, our new camp location coming in 2009 to the sugar white beaches of northwest Florida.
2008 Options: The "one size fits all camp is dead..." The 2008 camps now feature options to help your group spiritually develop faster. Sometimes your students need organized recreation, service options to get their hands dirty, or missions opportunities to work through the fear of sharing their faith. Depending on where your group is, you might want to "choose your own adventure" and make your own plans. New this year will be a mobile skate park by "Freshpark" at every camp. Click here to learn more about the 2008 options.
2008 Theme: The theme is "revolutionaries" and will challenge students to live radically for Christ... to be the church
rather than just attending church. Revolution is
one of those overused words that has lost some of its meaning over the years. We will bring definition to being a revolutionary by challenging students to live their lives like Jesus Christ... the ultimate revolutionary. Click here to learn more about "revolutionaries."
Intentional Programing: Depending
on the location, students will experience
powerful worship with "Altered" and the chart topping band "Rush of Fools" or award winning "Todd Agnew." Youth communicators Louis Brenton and Kiley Butler will challenge your students witha biblical worldview in order to live out their faith. c:Groups,
or small groups are designed as a safe environment for students to share and pray with one another. theHUB panel discussions...
are always interesting. You never know where we'll go as students have a chance to get the microphone and interact with artists, speakers and staff. Missions projects, service opportunities, organized recreation, waterfront
activites, beach, cave tours, swimming, fishing, ropes course, jet
skis, ski boats, water jumps... there's so much to do at AreaOne.

WHAT ARE THE PRIORITIES OF AREA1:camps?
1. Students leave camp with a relationship with Christ if they didn't already have one.2. Students renew the relationship with you and the church leadership that will continue to minister to them after they return home.
3. Inspire students to dig deeper in the Bible and apply what they learn in everything that they do... in essence live out a biblical worldview.
4. Train students in how to go to scripture in order to become mature believers.
5. That students put their faith into practice to reach out to those who don't know Christ and those less fortunate... Love God, love people.
